SMS Terms

These terms describe CEC Crew Alerts, the internal employee text message program of Center Enterprises Inc. d/b/a Central Electric Company (“CEC”).

• Program: CEC Crew Alerts. Central Electric Company sends operational text messages only to its own employees: daily job assignments and job-site locations, start times and schedule changes, and safety notices. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
• Who receives messages: Only Central Electric Company employees who opt in by providing their mobile number and written consent at the time of hire (or later, in writing). Consent is not a condition of employment.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies, typically up to a few messages per workday depending on job schedules.
• Costs: Msg & data rates may apply.
• Opt out: Reply STOP to opt out of any further texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt back in. Reply START to opt back in.
• Help: Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (713) 861-5762 or davidk@go-cec.com.
• Privacy: We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in or consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
• Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Sample message: “CEC Crew Alerts: Tomorrow you’re at Kroger 142, 7 AM start. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
